UPSC Tak is an independent resource for UPSC Civil Services aspirants and candidates preparing for allied exams — NDA, CDS, CAPF, SCRA, EPFO, and select State PSC examinations. Our goal is simple: cut through scattered, outdated, or overly promotional information and give aspirants direct, accurate, and current guidance in one place.
Who’s behind UPSC Tak
UPSC Tak is run by Satish, who started this site as “a lighthouse for aspirants” — a single place to find syllabus breakdowns, exam patterns, book recommendations, and notification updates without wading through ads-heavy or coaching-sales-driven pages. We are an independent publisher and are not affiliated with the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) or any coaching institute.
How we research and write
- Every syllabus, eligibility, and exam-pattern page is checked against the official notification on upsc.gov.in and, where relevant, Press Information Bureau (PIB) releases.
- Time-sensitive pages (admit cards, notifications, syllabus updates) are reviewed and updated each exam cycle rather than left stale after publishing.
- We link to primary/official sources wherever we cite a number, date, or eligibility criterion, so you can verify anything we say.
- Recommendations (books, resources) are based on genuinely widely-used materials in UPSC preparation, not paid placements.
Corrections and feedback
Exam rules and notifications change, and we don’t always catch an update the same day it happens. If you spot anything outdated or incorrect on this site, please tell us — we’d rather fix it fast than leave it wrong. Reach us through our Contact page.
Thank you for trusting UPSC Tak as part of your preparation. All the best for your exam.
